I was born in Marblehead MA, which is a small, quintessential New England coastal town. I left New England to attend the Stella Adler acting school were I was granted a scholarship for their two year program. After that I attended Santa Monica College where I enrolled in their popular creative writing course. From there I moved to UCLA as an English major.

I am an award winning and published poet and my first novel has been optioned three separate times by Hollywood, although at this writing it is still not a movie. Because of that I am a wholesale car dealer, meaning I buy from dealers and sell to other dealers. The name of my company is Fine Motors with an office in Westlake Village, and I have been in business for three years.

I was a volunteer Sheriff deputy in Marina del Rey. I have been involved with the Boys Scouts of America since childhood, and was a volunteer sailing instructor at the Pardee Boy Scout Base when I lived in Marina del Rey.
I am a coach for WAGS (Westlake Agoura Girls Softball), AYBA (Agoura Youth Basketball Organization) as well as the 3rd grade girls division director. I also coach AYSO (Agoura Youth Soccer Organization) U12 girls.
I am 47 and have a ten-year-old daughter named Blake.
